Software Group awarded the winner of the first MFC Innovation Award

At the end of October, Software Group awarded the winner of the first MFC Innovation Award – FINCA Bank Kyrgyzstan, at an official ceremony in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. FINCA Bank received a Certificate of recognition and 20 tablets with free Digital Field Application licenses, provided by Software Group.

MFC’s Innovation award aims to recognize projects that will enable significant contribution to financial inclusion and society and are planned for execution in the next two years. FINCA’s proposal received highest scores by the award committee based on the evaluation criteria. The project will create an innovative, first-to-market electronic wallet that will serve Kyrgyz national migrants working in Russia and manage Kyrgyz-based, full service bank accounts.

In addition to FINCA Kyrgyzstan, five more companies were recognized for their innovative projects and estimated future impact on financial inclusion:

2. KMF Kazahstan

3. NOA Albania

4. FINCA Azerbaijan

5. Good.bee Credit IFN Romania

The companies were awarded with Certificates of recognition by MFC during the 20th MFC Conference on May, 25th, 2017 in Sarajevo.
