The challenge
The recent boom in technology and changing customer expectations has stimulated financial companies to keep up with the ever more digitalized world. Innovation and digitalization of processes is the primary focus for Generali Insurance AD. Despite a solid network of 140 offices, 16 liquidation centers, 565 insurance agents and 278 insurance brokers throughout the country, the company wanted to offer their customers an all-round digital experience, just a click away.
The solution
To ease customer user experience, the company wanted to introduce a new and improved customer portal. In response to that need, Software Group was tasked to build the new digital insurance platform called My Generali. The portal offers complete service for the Generali customer contract.
The platform enables customers to register online, get an instant quote & buy for Motor Third Party Liability, Travel Insurance or Home Insurance. Installments can be paid quickly and securely by card or via an e-pay service.
Clients can also renew policies, register claims and track their status real time as well as get notified for expiring policies, upcoming payments and claims status.
The platform accommodates a search for service partners via GPS localization of health facilities, official auto repair shops and more.
My Generali is also available as an application for iOS and Android users.
Results
The platform is proving to greatly optimize the processes of purchasing and renewing new policies, paying installments remotely, registering claims online as well as tracking claims statuses in real time.
